5. WebAdvisor Registration • Students can use the “shopping cart” method or Express Registration. • It is recommended that you use registration priorities so as to not overwhelm the server. At CFCC we bring 500 students up twice a day. • Web registration is not particularly friendly for advisors. For that reason, our advisors will continue to have access to Colleague. • We have extended web registration every semester and it now extends through the day before classes begin. • We chose not to allow drop/add using web registration because of the 25% rule.

Understanding Degree Audit • WebAdvisor offers a degree audit (program evaluation) functionality for both students and faculty to track progress toward completion and plan course selection for academic programs. • A degree audit may be run to check progress in a current program or a what-if evaluation for another program the student is considering.

Understanding Degree Audit • The degree audit is a dynamic real-time document that changes with any action taken on the student’s record such as registration, withdrawals, repeating courses, grading, etc. • The degree audit is an internal document for advising purposes and is not an official document of a student’s academic record.
