Objectives • Content Objective: Students will understand how to use thick questions to make a discussion more engaging. • Language Objective: Students will be able to use the Narrative Story Arc to organize narrative writing
Discussion Director Rubric Remember to include PQS when giving a score.
Expectation for Literature Circles • FishBowls: Each student will go in at least once (Presentation grade)ç • PQS: Other students will give PQS (classwork grade) • Before each FishBowl, there will be discussion time within your group (Classwork grade) • All Homework will be handed in (homework grade)
Reading and Lit Roles • Pick a popsicle stick. This is your group, this is your role. • Read as a class, and begin your homework.
