Mission:To create and provide affordable, good quality, and biodegradable sanitary napkins to poor women in developing countries. The project: Producer of cost-effective biodegradable sanitary pads made using unwanted water hyacinth for poor women in India. I.M.Pad Innovative & Manageable Sanitary Pad By: Cheng Xinyi, 23, Singapore Ang Kar Yong, 21, Malaysia Keith Tan, 23, Singapore Vision: To be the leading volunteer community platform, to grow, enable, rethink volunteerism in Asia and beyond. Mission: To grow the rate of volunteering in Asia and Singapore to reach 40%, by bringing people together to play a role in solving the challenges of today and harnessing the power of technology for social good. The project: First non-governmental volunteerism advocacy social enterprise in Singapore that has an integrated online platform (www.startnow.sg), actively engaging schools, companies and nonprofit organisations to grow volunteerism and social responsibility in our community. By:Alywin Tan, 27, Singapore Evelyn Lim, 24, Singapore (not pictured) Vision:A world where every youth can pursue what they love, earn a good living and build a better future for the next generation. Mission:Empower youths to overcome poverty through sustainable youth development solutions. The project: A vocational training company that provides affordable and effective training programmes specifically tailored for rural youths living at the bottom of the pyramid to access high value jobs.
