What Happens • This story is about a guy that gets killed by a pig falling on him and about how his son feels about it • The mans son first response to his dads death was “Did he get shot” because he thought his dad was in the secret service. • Once he learns that he was killed by a pig he asked what happened to the pig.
Facts about the story • Story takes place in Naples, Italy in the 1960’s • The pig that fell on the man fell from a 5th floor balcony and hit the 3rd floor balcony that made it move out to the sidewalk and break the mans neck • The mans son doesn’t seem to worry about the fact that his dad just died because he is keeping his feeling bottled up
More Facts • Jerome (the mans son) worshiped his father but didn’t show an feelings towards his death • The mans son doesn’t reveal that he cared about his dads death until a girl he was dating didn’t seem to ask questions about his dads death and that was all that he really wanted • You may be wondering what happened to the pig after the accident, they ate it.

Moral • The moral of this story is kind of a trick question it depends on your view point • If you see it in the mans eyes it is to expect the unexpected • But if you look at it in a normal persons way its that god works in mysterious ways and that something can happen to you when you don’t want it to
