Sigma: -notation

Sigma: -notation.  is the Greek letter S, called ‘sigma’, and it indicates that we want the sum of all terms. e.g. 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + …. + 20. The sum of the first 20 counting numbers. This can be written in the sigma notation as:. Last value of n. formula for n th term.
