Observation suggests SUSY is insensitive to flavor-violating UV dynamics. • To avoid SUSY flavor problem, we consider sequestered scenarios in which direct Kahler contact term is absent at tree level. • Geometrical separation of hidden sector and visible sector in extra dimension is popular realization of sequestering. • Generically, KK modes of bulk fields can generate Kahler contact term in EFT below M KK

  3. In 5D brane-to-brane mediation scenario with various bulk fields in flat and AdS background, we calculate tree-level Kahler contact terms and investigate its implication. Vector multiplet Q, Q Gravity multiplet Z, Z Hypermultiplet AdS or Flat geometry

  4. We calculate Kahler contact term by matching current-current interaction. Result in 5D flat and AdS geometry • Integrating out KK modes of Gravity multiplet and hypermultiplet does not generate contact terms. • Contact terms are generated by KK modes of vector multiplet. It can be exponentially suppressed by AdS geometry and 5D mass of vector multiplet.
