General • Some software written with Delphi 5 • 9 years old, so no updates • fewer components supporting this old version • Moving to Delphi 2009 • seen as step on the route to 64-bit software • 64-bit required for the new data and even some of today's data combinations • characters change from 8-bit to 16-bit Unicode • chance of some strange errors in the beta versions!

  3. ATOVS Reader • Support Metop-A data over EUMETCast

  4. AVHRR Manager • Version for Windows Vista • Support NOAA-19 • Add satellite choice for pass list creation • Make it easier to locate your Kepler data • Add Help, FAQs pointing to the Web • Add German translation

  5. BUFR Viewer • New program to decode various wind data • Supports: • ASCATT data (Metop-A) • SCATT data (ERS-2) • QuickSat S-OSI data • EUMETSAT AMV data (Meteosat-8/9) • MODIS SatWind data • some EUMETSAT Archive service data • Can be command-line driven

  6. CMA Viewer • Accept compressed files on input • Better interpretation of precipitation data

  7. Equalise • Add Fast option (fewer directory lookups) • Add directory exclude list • Add file exclusion list
