Ideas for collaborative studies I • Comparison of data for cases submitted to the National Bowel Cancer Audit Programme with the data recorded at the WMCIU • Data completeness 2007/08 • 1 WM Trust has not submitted any data • 1 WM Trust has 7% case ascertainment • 5 WM Trusts have 50-79% case ascertainment • Outcome measures • Permanent stoma rate • Post-operative mortality (30 day) • Post-operative length of stay • 1-year survival • 5-year survival
