  3. Big Picture • The reign of Henry VII: political power and control • After the Battle of Bosworth, Henry VII establishes his reign and the Tudor dynasty. He faces immediate minor plots and defeats his first serious challenger – Lambert Simnel – at the Battle of Stoke 1487.
