Thu Al –Quarnayn (Thul-Qarnayn)

1. Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnayn) ” وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ قُلْ سَأَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا“ الكهف 83

2. الكهف Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) And they ask you about Thul-Qarnain. Say: "I shall recite to you something of his story.“ Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything. So he followed a way.

3. الكهف Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. We (Allah) said (by inspiration): "O Thul-Qarnain! Either you punish them, or treat them with kindness."He said: "As for him (a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah) who does wrong, we shall punish him, and then he will be brought back unto his Lord, Who will punish him with a terrible torment (Hell)."But as for him who believes (in Allah's Oneness) and works righteousness, he shall have the best reward, (Paradise), and we (Thul-Qarnain) shall speak unto him mild words (as instructions)."

4. الكهف Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) Then he followed another way,Until, when he came to the rising place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We (Allah) had provided no shelter against the sun.So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Thul-Qarnain).

5. الكهف Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) Then he followed (another) way,Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them (those two mountains), a people who scarcely understood a word.They said: "O Thul-Qarnain! Verily Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?"He said: "That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord had established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier.

6. الكهف Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) "Give me pieces (blocks) of iron;" then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said: "Blow;" then when he had made them (red as) fire, he said: "Bring me molten copper to pour over them."So they [Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog)] could not scale it or dig through it. (Thul-Qarnain) said: "This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true."

7. Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) عن زينب بنت جحش أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل عليها فزعا يقول : ( لا إله إلا الله ، ويل للعربمن شر اقترب ، فتح اليوم من ردميأجوجومأجوجمثل هذه ) . وحلق بإصبعه الإبهام والتي تليها، قالت زينب بنت جحش : فقلت : يا رسول الله ، أنهلك وفينا الصالحون ؟ قال : ( نعم ،إذا كثر الخبث).الراوي: زينب بنت جحش  -  خلاصة الدرجة: [صحيح]  -  المحدث: البخاري Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh: That the Prophet once came to her in a state of fear and said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe unto the Arabs from a danger that has come near. An opening has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this," making a circle with his thumb and index finger. Zainab bint Jahsh said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we be destroyed even though there are pious persons among us?" He said, "Yes, when evil deeds increase."

He was one of the jinn; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblees) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the wrong-doers. وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِي وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ بِئْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلًا50

13. Thu Al –Quarnayn(Thul-Qarnain) عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يستعيذ في صلاته من فتنة الدجال .البخاري و مسلم 'A'isha reported: 1 heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) seeking refuge from the trial of Dajjal (False Messiah) in prayer.

Trials by false appearances Trials of Power ثم قام النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الناس ، فأثنى على الله بما هو أهله ، ثم ذكر الدجال ، فقال : ( إني أنذركموه ، وما من نبي إلا قد أنذره قومه ، لقد أنذره نوح قومه ، ولكن سأقول لكم فيه قولا لم يقله نبي لقومه : تعلمون أنه أعور ، وأن الله ليس بأعور ) .الراوي: عبدالله بن عمر   المحدث: البخاري Once Allah's Apostle stood amongst the people, glorified and praised Allah as He deserved and then mentioned the Dajjal saying, "l warn you against him (i.e. the Dajjal) and there was no prophet but warned his nation against him. No doubt, Noah warned his nation against him but I tell you about him something of which no prophet told his nation before me. You should know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is not one-eyed."

15. Trials in Faith by Persecution Trials of Power • حدثنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حديثا طويلا عن الدجال ، فكان فيما حدثنا به أن قال : يأتي الدجال ، وهو محرم عليه أن يدخل نقاب المدينة ، ينزل بعض السباخ التي بالمدينة ، فيخرج إليه يومئذ رجل هو خير الناس ، أو من خير الناس ، فيقول : أشهد أنك الدجال ، الذي حدثنا عنك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حديثه ، فيقول الدجال : أرأيت إن قتلت هذا ثم أحييته هل تشكون في الأمر ؟ . فيقولون : لا ، فيقتله ثم يحييه ، فيقول حين يحييه : والله ما كنت قط أشد بصيرة مني اليوم ، فيقول الدجال : أقتله فلا أسلط عليه . الراوي: أبو سعيد الخدري  -  خلاصة الدرجة: [صحيح]  -  المحدث: البخاري   Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle told us a long narrative about Ad-Dajjal, and among the many things he mentioned, was his saying, "Ad-Dajjal will come and it will be forbidden for him to pass through the entrances of Medina. He will land in some of the salty barren areas (outside) Medina; on that day the best man or one of the best men will come up to him and say, 'I testify that you are the same Dajjal whose description was given to us by Allah's Apostle .' Ad-Dajjal will say to the people, 'If I kill this man and bring him back to life again, will you doubt my claim?' They will say, 'No.' Then Ad-Dajjal will kill that man and bring him back to life. That man will say, 'Now I know your reality better than before.' Ad-Dajjal will say, 'I want to kill him but I cannot.' "

16. Trials by false appearances • ألا أخبركم عن الدجال حديثا ما حدثه نبي قومه ؟ إنه أعور . وإنه يجيء معه مثل الجنة والنار . فالتي يقول إنها الجنة ، هي النار . وإني أنذرتكم به كما أنذر به نوح قومه الراوي: أبو هريرة  -  خلاصة الدرجة: صحيح  -  المحدث: مسلم   • Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: May I not inform you about the Dajjal what no Apostle of Allah narrated to his people? He would be one-eyed and he would bring along with him an Image of Paradise and Hell-Fire and what he would call as Paradise that would be Hell-Fire and I warn you as Noah warned his people.
