Print Pass Screen • You will print one player pass per sheet and only one pass at a time • The second signed pass is available if an error occurs
Set Up Pass To Print • Select the pass you wish to print • For this example I checked the box next to Brandon O’Brien and changed the print order to #1 as I want this to print on the pass on the top of the card • Then select the Print Format at the bottom as “PDF Version” • Choose Print Selected Pass
Printing Pass • A Printing Tips Instruction Memo will Come up • Set the margins then close the window
Recommendations Prior to Printing • You want the PDF file to print on the side of the pass without the signature • You will need to play with your printer to assess if your passes need to be placed face up (side you want to print on = side without signature) or face down (side with signature) to print properly • You will repeat this process for each player and Team official • State Cup Teams should also go to the Team Aide Tab and print passes for Team Aides – ONLY TEAM OFFICIALS are allowed on the sidelines for State Cup • Tips • Print the PDF on a blank sheet of paper first to test the margins • Hold it up against the Pass Sheet to assess if it will fit on the pass properly • You can also photocopy the Pass Sheet and print the PDF on the copy of the pass sheet
What Happens If The Pass Does Not Print Properly • We had a 2nd pass signed for this reason. • If there is any issues with the pass to include • Wrong player printed on wrong signed pass • Printer jams and pass messed up • Print goes into wording on card and is not legible (especially crucial for State Cup Teams) • Etc… • You will need to tear the messed up pass and tape it to the bottom of the page to print on the next pass. Some pages will allow a partial page to print but in many cases the full page is needed • Ensure any known errors are corrected prior to printing again • If a 2nd failure occurs you will need to have the player sign a new pass • Continue printing until all passes are printed for Team Managers, Coaches and Players. Also Team Aides if applicable
Printing Passes with Photos • I am told this is an option this year • I do not have photos ready to work with so I will work on this and get this to you by the end of next week and send a separate PowerPoint with instructions
Final Pass Preparations If you do not apply photos electronically • Once the Pass is printed, you will need to glue the appropriate photo onto the Pass
What to Prepare to Turn Into Roberta • Please have all teams set up and turned into me at the club office by July 25, 2011 • What do you need to turn in? • 3 copies of the League Roster • 3 copies of State Cup Roster – U15 – U18 PUMA teams if your team is doing State Cup • Signed and printed Player passes with photos applied for all players, team officials and team aides if needed. • Code of Conduct • Photo Release Forms
What You Will Keep • You do not need to turn in the following documents to me: • Medical Releases
Approval of Rosters • I cannot approve any rosters until August 1, 2011 • I do plan to start reviewing, signing and stamping the documents as they come in, so please get them all in by the 25th of July • I will then apply the official date as I approve them in the VYSA system • The date on the roster must match the approval date in the system
