Regina has had the initiative to identify potential of Romanian trades, organizing the royal castle in Sinaia like a national craft center. He sensed a major benefit of tourism in a country that was not at that time in the international tourist circuit, launching an intense campaign advertising to make known the foreign country which adopted her : the Orient Express train halt at Sinaia ,the travelers being hosted at the royal castle, Romania's participation in exhibition Universelle in Paris in 1889 and 1900 with numerous articles traditional hand-made by women , organizing the exhibition "Woman in arts and crafts "(Berlin, 1912). Under the pseudonym Carmen Sylva (Latin "Forest Song") wrote 43 books in German, Romanian, French and English (poems, tales, stories, novels,life stories)
