  6. What Makes God Angry? • Nahum 3:1 • Bloody city – violence • Lies – deceit • Robbery – covetousness, greed • Idolatry – spiritual harlotry & sorcery • Wickedness to others – lack of love v3:19

  8. Wisdom in the Heart • Proverbs 10:19 restrains lip • Proverbs 14:17 prevent fool acting • Proverbs 16:32 slow to anger is mighty • Proverbs 17:27 spare words, calm spirit • Proverbs 22:24 make no friends with angry • Eccl 7:9 Anger rests in the bosom of fools

  9. Conclusion • God has fierce ANGER and WRATH • It can dispense His righteousness, ours cannot • God is Slow to anger • God’s Anger is Powerful • God will not acquit anyone • We should be slow to anger and quick to get rid of it
