Volume and Surface Area

1. Volume and Surface Area Imagine stacking 27 small cubes so that they form a larger cube. If the outside of the larger cube was painted, how many of the smaller cubes had painting on three sides, how many had painting on two sides, how many had painting on only one side, and how many had no painting on them at all?
