  1. Restoril Drug Class: Benzodiazepines

  2. Restoril medicine is recommended by doctors to Insomnia patients. It relaxes their mind and helps them sleep with lesser instances of waking up in the middle of night.

Dosage • While the recommended usual adult dose is 15 mg before retiring • Restoril 7.5 mg may be sufficient for some patients • others may need 30 mg. • In transient insomnia, a 7.5 mg dose may be sufficient to improve sleep latency. • In elderly or debilitated patients, it is recommended that therapy be initiated with 7.5 mg until individual responses are determined • But it is highly recommended to take its dosage according to doctor’s prescription.
