  2. How to register in Aleks… • Go to Aleks.com • Click “New User, SIGN UP NOW”

  3. Aleks registration continued… 3. Your instructor sent you the course code with the Orientation Information. It will be for PreAlgebra, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry or PreCalculus. 4. After you enter the Course Code, click on Continue…

  4. Aleks registration continued… • A Confirmation page should appear with the name of the course you are registering for. • Once verified, click Continue.

  5. Aleks registration continued… • If you did not purchase a code from the book store, you can purchase one on line with a valid credit card…click here. • If you purchase a registration code from the book store, you enter it here and then click Continue.

  6. Aleks registration continued… 9. Fill in the required fields.

  7. Aleks registration continued… • You do not need to fill in your Student Id. • Read the Licsence Agreement and check the box. • Click Continue.

  8. Aleks registration continued… • Make sure you copy your Login Name and keep it in a safe place. • Click Continue.

  9. Aleks registration continued… • Aleks will now walk you through an Orientation on how to enter information. There is no way to skip this and it is important to complete it.

  10. Aleks registration continued… 16. After you learn how to enter answers in Aleks, you will be given an initial assessment. It is important that you do your best during the assessment. Aleks will determine what topics you need to learn.

  11. Aleks registration continued… After the assessment, Aleks will assign you a Pie with topics that you need to learn.

  12. Your Pie… You can move around the pie in any order you want. As you move your cursor over the pieces, topic boxes will appear. Click on a topic. Aleks will give you three questions pertaining to this topic…you must answer three questions correctly before Aleks will give you credit for it. If you need help, click on “Explain” and Aleks will help you with the topic.
