Loch Ness Monster Is there a mysterious creature living in the depths of a loch in Scotland? By Clayton
History of the Loch Ness Monster • In the depths of Loch Ness, a great lake in Scotland, there is said to be a mysterious lizard-like creature with two humps. • The Loch Ness Monster is said to be very large and green in color (like a lizard) with fins instead of legs.
Science Fiction Theories • Some people believe that a plesiosauruses survived the last ice age by rebirthing and continue to live in the loch. • Others believe it is some type of underwater monster.
Scientific Explanation So many sightings of the Loch Ness Monster have been proven fake that many scientists doubt the beast exists : • an elephant swimming in the loch • a fake Nessie created and photographed as a hoax • wakes from the waves caused by boats Many have developed their own ideas of what the beast is like a giant eel or an unknown species of longneck seal.
My Reasoned Judgment • I believe that the Loch Ness Monster is fake. All the hoaxes and scams set up at an angle to look like Nessie have made me decide not to believe that Nessie is real. • I believe that even if there is anything in the loch, there is definitely not a monster.
