Vision and Mission • Vision Statement • ASPASA is committed to represent a healthy and sustainable aggregate industry • Mission Statement • ASPASA will contribute to achieving its vision by: • developing the expertise - relationships and standing to allow it to shape key aspects of the industry environment; • providing tangible and valued support to its members in their businesses; • striving to achieve excellence in ethical and legal conduct throughout the industry.
Obligation to our Customers • We undertake to: • disclose relevant information regarding our products & not mislead customers about our product • charge the agreed price, or where no price was agreed, a fair price • supply our products timeously, and keep the customer informed of any delays in supply • to maintain standards of quality in accordance with our understanding or any agreement made with the customer
Obligation to Customers cont., • We undertake to: • provide a reasonable guarantee of conformation of the product to industry standards, and replace or otherwise make good any product which is below standard • provide a ready means for the customer to lodge complaints about the quality of the products • not to permit or condone any acts of bribery • respect the confidentiality of sensitive producer and customer information
Environmental Policy • ASPASA and its members commit their operation to: • Optimise the recovery and use of resources • Responsible mining & rehabilitation practices • Compliance with applicable environmental legislation • Integrating environmental management into the day to day management functions • Maintain communication channels with: • authorities • neighbours • other stakeholders • Participate in the ASPASA About Face RSA 2000 Environmental Management Program
