Introduction • The early settlers walked from place to place in order to travel. • Horses were used as a form of transportation during the mid 1800-1900’s. • A wagon was attached to the horse or stagecoach to carry people and cargo.

WAGONS • Wagons were used as a form of transportation for settlers to travel. INSERT PICTURES Wagon trains were formed for groups of people to travel together.
