  2. . Introduction Community is a show based around a group of student at Greendale. The leader of the Group is Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) and he a companied by his study group Troy (Donald glover) , Abed (Danny Pudi), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Annie (Alison Brie), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), and Pearce (Chevy Chase). The show started in 2009 and episodes are 30 minutes (including commercials/Advertising) and are jam-packed full of comedy. In season one this group of misfits are in the same Spanish class and create a study group to help them pass the course.

  3. . Setting The show takes place mostly at Greendale community collage but has small changes in location for certain scenes. It is modern time and shot in Los angels. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a hint of comedy which helps me wind down before a good nights sleep.

  4. . . Characters • Jeff Winger is the leader and known for being overly confident and good looking. He gives the group speeches and keeps them all together and some what happy. • Jeff “gets around and steals hearts” he kisses Annie, sleeps with Britta, dates a Spanish teacher, and many other girls ogle over him. • He was lawyer before returning to a community collage to get the proper degrees necessary to continue to be a lawyer. • The fact the he is a lawyer provides back story to where he got his great ability to reason and give wonderful speeches and his understanding of people. • “As someone who faked being a Lawyer for 7 years I appreciate the commitment to the bit.”

  5. . . Characters • Troy is a high school graduate and was the star for his high school football team and in the first season wears his football jacket everywhere. • Troy is best friends with Abed and is well known for his childish nature (imaginative, stupid, lack of logic, cute, emotional). • Annie a member of the study group had mental break down in high school coincidentally the same high school Troy attended and that is what she is known for. She also likes Troy a lot in the start of the show. • “I had to hitchhike in a burrito truck last night its not as fun as it sounds”

  6. . . Characters • Abed relates more to TV shows and movies then the real world and connects almost all of his interactions to movie or something he has seen on TV. • Abed is best friends with Troy and they love each other like brothers they are both creative and do interesting things such as pillow land, the world’s largest fort made of entirely pillows and blankets. • Abed is going to school to pursue a career in filming/film making. He is a good source of comedy for the show with his elaborate costumes. • “Our first assignment is a documentary. They’re like real movie but with ugly people.”

  7. . . Teen Issues This show doesn’t focus so much on teen issues as it does focus on what happens after high school. They show how life can effect you and how get schooling can be a huge help the character Shirley she wants get more education to get a better job and give her children a better future.
