‘Train the Trainer’ course for teachers to deliver themselves to pupils • Young leadership groups developing their own campaigns in schools • ‘Social contact’ opportunities where young people share their experience of mental health problems • CYP Regional Coordinators and Young Champions delivering together Our offer for local areas
We have supported hubs by: • Providing free resources and links to national campaigns • Delivering free training sessions for local secondary schools, colleges and youth sector organisations. • Involvement in activities aimed at young leaders in schools • Attending local headteacher meetings, PSHE network meetings • Linking in with schools improvement, healthy schools and PSHE leads in hub areas. . Example of activities in other hubs • Provided training to a group of local schools in Kirklees. • Linked in with the Northern and Midlands PSHE network via Leeds Hub which has given us links with: Leeds, Manchester, Barnsley and many other areas. • Supported 3 PHSE networks in Bristol by providing training and resources • Delivered workshops at locally led conferences for young leaders in Kingston and Waltham Forest • Ran 2 training session for local schools and linked with 3 headteacher networks in Cumbria .
