  1. Reality Television- Next Kieran O’Meara, and Aidan Talgo

Summary of Next • Next is a reality television show. • It is a dating show with contestants on a bus and come out one at a time for a chance to win a date with the host, but don’t feel bad for the contestants who get booted, for every minute they last, they get one dollar for one min. and so on

  3. Age • All the contestants are usually in the 20s or teens • There are usually no people in their 30s • When the people try impress the other person they usually act like 10 year oldsor like a goofball! • They also do activities that younger people would • Example: They would have a juggling contest • The basic age in this show is from 17-28

  4. Class • Class is shown with the bachelor and his money • Usually there is a lot of food that there is left over. The contestants try to act smart and rich, but are weird while trying to perform crazy things to impress the host.

  5. Reward and loss • If the contestant and the host (either boy or girl) like each other the contestant gets to go on a second date or take all the money • If the host doesn't like the contestant he/she says NEXT!!! And the next person on the bus comes out • Depending on how many minutes the contestants lasts, they get that amount of money NEXT!!

  6. Racism and Ethnicity • For example: Sometimes when an African American comes out of the bus and the host is white, the host might say next right away be cause of the color of the skin instead of seeing the person on the inside • People usually fat people are nexted right away • People also next ugly people right away instead of meeting the real person

  7. Gender • The boys try to show of their body. The girl’s wear bikinis to attract the boys. • The body is what the people look at and is there hair long and straight or messy and short. • Boy’s are strong and tall. Girl’s are small and skinny.
