The dark sky could connote horror which could make the game look scary. This is Michael’s night time background, it is made up of a dark night sky, the green grass and the dirt. The green, brown and the dark blue are all very simple colours. When you look at the green you know immediately that it is grass, the brown is dirt and the blue is the sky. The green grass and the dirt remind me of Mario which a very popular game which everyone knows. This will be easy to animate over as it is very simple and doesn’t feature anything that could get in the way.
This is Michael’s daytime background for his game. It has a sky, grass and the dirt beneath the grass. The light blue shows that it is daytime which is what he is going to use this background for. The graphic was made in paint therefore it is a bitmap. Bitmaps tend to be lacking in quality as the picture when made slightly bigger can get pixelated. This could be bad as he will use this as a background and he will need to make it bigger and it might get pixelated. This graphic has very simple colours which the graphic very simple. This is good as it means that it will not be complicated and it will not be difficult to animate.
This is Michael’s tree for his game. It is very simple as it has a little brown tree trunk and green on top to show leaves. The tree is very colourful which helps to brighten the scene and make it less boring. Though the picture isn’t too colourful and doesn’t have any extraordinary colour therefore it is colourful but it isn’t too childish. The storyline of his game obviously involves trees therefore this is very appropriate for his game as it is what his needs

This tree is different for the other one which helps to add a bit variety to the game and therefore make it less boring and more detailed. This is Michael’s house that he will use in his game. It is very simple house with a red roof, a brown door, grey walls and the windows are filled in yellow. The grey walls, brown door and the dark red roof make the house look dark. The darkness connotes scary and makes the house look scary. The owner of the house may not want to decorate the house as he may be depressed because of the fighting the game. The windows being filled in yellow shows that someone might be in or someone wants you to think that they are in. This make it look like someone lives here. The house is slanted which may show that it has been involved in battle. The game has fighting in and having a broken house shows the gamer very early in the game that there may be fighting.
