The Wrist Shot • Most accurate shot • Released very quickly
Hand Position and Stance • Move lower hand half way down the stick for more power • Move puck behind or even with your back leg • Lower back shoulder to reach for the puck with your stick • Weight on your back leg
Stick and the Puck • Keep the puck in the middle of the blade • Also keep the blade tilted over the puck
The Shot • Sweep the puck forward • Turn your wrists to change the angle of the blade • Flick your wrists to release the puck from the stick • Height of the shot is changed by how much you rotate your wrists
