Encouraging a Christian way of life • We have daily Worship led regularly by visiting speakers • We have Praise and Worship through song weekly organised by one of our Governors • Our staff lead by example • All children are encouraged to do the right thing • We say prayers daily in the classroom • We provide opportunities for quiet reflection • We distinguish between right and wrong behaviour • We display rules (which are based on Christian principles) prominently in each classroom • We ensure that the teaching of Sex and drugs education is within a strong moral • framework • We provide support for national and local charities • Good behaviour is rewarded • We encourage older children to care, support and play with younger children • We celebrate pupil’s success • Spiritual Development is at the heart of all we do
Ensuring that each child has a good understanding of how to live a healthy lifestyle • We are accredited for being a Healthy School • We provide milk/toast as a healthy snack • We are part of the National Fruit/Vegetable Scheme at KS1 • Our children are encouraged to drink water during the day • We provide water fountains, accessible to all pupils • We provide out of school activities to enhance physical activities • Parents are encouraged to provide a healthy packed lunch • Our school dinners are based on a healthy diet • Each class is timetabled for PE • A healthy life style is promoted in our curriculum and throughout school
