  2. Entry requirements • Placement test in English (run by EOI) • Secondary school, LOGSE, COU, FPII • Access exam for 20 year old students, or for 18 years olds who have successfully passed a similar medium level course

  3. ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE 2009-2010 • This programme will provide students with the relevant knowledge and skills to enable them to make a significant contribution within modern business, commercial or administrative environments. The programme is for school leavers who wish to pursue a career in business, enterprise or related fields and also mature students who wish to improve their career prospects. The learning process in this course involves lectures, tutorials, work practice, workshops, case studies and interactive learning. Lecturers actively encourage participation in classes.

  4. Course modules • Supply Management • Maths for Finance • Human Resource Management • Sales Management & Customer Care • Information Processing and typewriting: keyboard use. Microsoft Office (Word, excel, access) – Internet – e-mail, wikis, blogs. • English: students start at secondary level, and learn the basic language to communicate between businesses • Accounting and Taxation • Public Administration • Auditing • Health and safety • Entrepreneur Project • Financial and insurance products and services • Quality • Students develop computing skills in all areas
