The Effects of Tsunami in Cuddalore District Tamil Nadu India

A professional team from DHAN Foundation is collaborating with the community in Periya Kalapet Village, Pondicherry to assess the damages caused by the tsunami. The most vulnerable group affected is the poor fishermen living near the shoreline, and hundreds of children have been orphaned. This project aims to provide special attention to the care of children, lactating mothers, and pregnant women. The local community is actively involved in relief efforts.
