  4. #1 - Organization • General team information: • Mission – Fostering Excellence and Teamwork for Life Through Rowing • Open to all Central Ohio high school students • Nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status • Full-time head coach and paid coaches • Bylaws and important documents on website • Facilities – Boatyard and erg room • Squads: • Varsity women and men • Novice women and men • Per US Rowing, you automatically become Varsity after one calendar year from the first day you row 3

Annual meeting: did you know . . . • Donations are tax deductible. • DC cost of $635 is approximately $300.00 and $100.00 per season less than other Columbus rowing teams. • DC purchased five boats (more than $80,000 of equipment) in the past 30 months. • DC is working on purchasing a sixth boat (a 4+ boat) – goal is March 2014. 35 23
