  2. What is the radian measure of 60? It was easy to determine the radian measure of 90, 180, 270, and 360. But determining the radian measures of other angles takes a little more work. BACK NEXT EXIT

  3. What is the radian measure of 60? 1. Use the fact that 180 =  radians2. Let x be the radian measure of 60 and create the proportion: 3. Solving for x, That is BACK NEXT EXIT

  4. This procedure can be used to convert any angle in degrees to its corresponding radian measure. BACK NEXT EXIT

  5. Q: What is the radian measure of -45? BACK NEXT EXIT

  6. Answer-- BACK NEXT EXIT

  7. Recall: Two angles , are said to be coterminal if m() = m() + k  360 for some integer k BACK NEXT EXIT

  8. We can replace 360 with its radian measure 2. This gives an equivalent criteria for coterminal angles: m() = m() + 2k for some integer k BACK NEXT EXIT

  9. Determine two positive coterminal angles for . BACK NEXT EXIT
