  2. Convection Convection is the use of currents to carry heat around. As hot air rises, cold air drops. It eventually cycles around and repeats over again.

  3. Convection Example A prime example of today’s use of convection would be a Heater. Because the air cycles around the room like currents, which warms the room.

  4. Conduction Conduction is the transfer of heat by direct touch, in which heats the object. A negative issue to conduction is that, since it is in direct heat, that particular area will get very hot. Like a frying pan, and if you touch that area, you could get badly burned.

  5. Conduction Example An example of conduction would be the use of a frying pan when cooking. Since the frying pan is touching the stove, and is slowly heating, it is counted as conduction.
