Platypus • Platypuses are covered with three layers of thick brown fur. • They have webbed feet, a bill like a duck's, and a tail like a beaver's. • They live near streams and lakes in eastern parts of Australia
Sea Dragons • Sea dragons are NOT sea horses. • They are usually green gold and orange. • They have appendages that look like leaves.
Emu • Emu's eat grass, leaves and small insects. • It’s the world’s third largest bird. • Emus are found in Woods, grassland, and deserts.
Wombat • Their fur is grayish-brown. • They have long sharp claws. • They can weigh up to 86 pounds. • They eat mostly grass.
Bilby • Grey fur with a white and black tail. • They have very good hearing because of their long ears. • They eat mostly bugs and seeds. • They live in burrows.
Fairy penguins • Fairy penguins are found along the shores of Southern Australia. • They have bluish feathers with a white belly. • They eat small fish and they eat their fish whole.
