  2. Film title sequence • Film title sequence is a way of presenting a film title or television programs which includes the cast members, producer, director etc... TV show graphic • TV show graphic is a station logo and overlay the portion of the screen of every programs that they produce and helps the viewer’s identify the channel and also increases recognition of the channel. However theTV graphic wont beshown when there is an advertunlessthe adverts are from their channel for example a new TV show. • In England it’s mainly found in the top left hand corner. However BBC news appears on the bottom left hand corner. • The logos on channels such as ITV, Channel 5, BBC Three, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, E4, E! Disney XD, Sky Arts 1 and 2, Sky1, Sky2, Sky Sports, History, and More4 are nearly transparent. • Whereas others like those on Comedy Central, Euro sport, Playhouse Disney, the UKTV channels, CITV, CBBC, CBeebies, the Discovery channels, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Boomerang and Nickelodeon are very bright and noticeable. • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5VnkZGq1Es

  4. TV/film advert • TV/film advert is a little preview of a film that will be in the cinemas and the main purpose is to attract the audience to watch the movie. Trailers are certain shots from the movie from the movie for advertising and they will certain shots for example either funny or dramatic scenes without spoiling it for the audience. • Also it’s as to be 2 minutes and 30 seconds the most. Trailers have been very popular on DVDs/Blu-ray discs and even on mobile phones and on the internet. • In some cases they will use `special shoot` footage which is created for advertising. This is found in a lot of reality shows, however it doesn’t show. Music video • Music video is a video made for a certain song and in this generation music videos are produced to mainly promote the song, if the artist is new if could be for recognition and for marketing as well. There are a range of styles of making the music videos such as animation, live or in a story form.   6. Internet banner • Internet banner is another way of advertising on the internet and it’s a rectangular found either above, the sides or at the bottom. In the older days of the internet were either text or graphic images however, now the web banner are now designed by flash also there is text, graphics and now sound. • http://www.riverisland.com/

  7. TV frame rates TV frames rates • TV frame rates means how may pictures there are in one second and speed per second. Basically the more frame that are captured per second the more accurate the motion will be recorded and precisely it is. There are different The TV frame for example the rate for American television is 29.97. The British television TV rates are 25 and for film are 24. The hobbit director peter Jackson the film was shot at 48 frames rated instead of 24 which means it’s twice as the normal speed. The reason why it was 48fps it’s because it will of make the film more clearly in 3D. Also if the camera captures twice as the amount of frames more detail appears and the blur does not show up.   8. Ratio • Ratio • Ratio is just describing the shape of the width and height of the screen is. The old screen ratio was 4:3 and from 2003 most computer monitors had a ratio of 4:3. Older games or movies with the ratio of 4:3 will work well with monitors of 4:3 • 16:9 is for wide screen TV, high definition and also it’s used for games and movies. In 2008 the laptops and computers move from 4:3 and 16:10 to 16:9 as the standard aspect ratio. Resolution • Resolution is the of the number of pixels that is on display and its usually width by height, for example 1024 x 768 which means the width is 1024 pixels and the height is 768 pixels • Compression • Compression in video is used to reduce the video data and uses lossy compression. Video compression is some source of coding theory. High compressed video will present visible. Uncompressed video will require high data rate. • Video formats • For videos there are many file formats that are available although they would not be available on all devices. • Audio Video Interleaved is a Windows movie file and provides high video quality however it has a large file size. Approximately 25 GB is required for only 60 minutes of video. • H.264 is a digital video code noted for high data compression and also maintaining high quality • MP4-MPEG-4 is a versatile file format that can include audio, video, images and animations.
