  1. 8 Essential Skills of an Expert in Technical Support While it is true that there are innate abilities of each person, so is the premise that no one is born knowing and that any knowledge or competence that one wishes to acquire is possible as long as there is the will and need to do so. For the present case, the same happens with the skills that a technical support person must have to perform their tasks well and perform successfully in their work. It is not necessary to find the perfect candidates for IT products suppliers in Dubai, but to feel a passion for technology and to help others in solving problems. Without further ado, these are the essential skills and competencies that a technical support person must have: 1.Knowing how computers work: it’s the key to every professional support expert! You must understand the concepts, characteristics, and components of a computer. 2.Become familiar with the different operating systems: because the operating system of a computer controls the fundamental processes of hardware and software, it is essential to know the most common, these are: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. 3.Know how to correctly diagnose, solve and document standard software and hardware problems: keep the computer systems in proper operation and solve any issues that arise from them, from configuring and installing new hardware to the support of software licenses. 4.Knowledge about the administration and virtualization of networks: understand what virtualization is, can analyze the operation of a local system and also of wireless networks. 5.Know in detail the components of a computer: this includes the different types and characteristics of RAM, the operation of "motherboards" and its essential software known as BIOS, to the knowledge of the crucial peripherals that integrate it. 6.Always focus on Improvisation: Improvisation is still good, it is the only way to improve your skills and enhance your knowledge. You can practice new things and learn other ways to do that same thing. Experiences failures will teach you in each and every step. This results in a higher customer lifetime value, as well as a more positive experience for both you and the customer.

  2. 7.Learn from a professional: An expert is an ideal person who can guide you every step. Surrounded by professionals who already possess the technical skills you want. If so, that one can help teach you the skills you’re looking for, either for free or for compensation. 8.Learn on the job: In many organizations, employers may be able to provide on-the-job training. If you do not have certain technical skills an employer desires, make it known that you are eager to learn whatever skills are necessary to effectively perform the job.
