What is H.323? • H.323 is a standard that provides multimedia communication services — real-time audio, video, and data communications — over packet networks. • Because H.323 is international standard for videoconferencing, you can communicate without considering any compatibility.

Before using ViewStation… • Connect all components • Configure the system
Power Supply • Connect the equipments.
Microphone • Connect the equipments.
LAN Cable • Connect the equipments.
S-Video output (or Composite output) Audio output • Connect the equipments.
Before configuring the system… • All inputs to ViewStation is done by using this Remote Control
Configure the system • Choose preferred language. • Set the IP address.
Language setup • Choose “Admin Setup”.
Language setup • Choose “General Setup”.
Language setup • Choose “Language”.
Language setup • Choose language you want to use. • English (US) • English (UK) • French • Japanese etc.
Setting IP address • Choose “LAN/H.323”.
Setting IP address • Choose “LAN/Intranet”.
Setting IP address • Choose “LAN & Intranet”.
Setting IP address • Set up LAN and Intranet information. • IP Address

System Requirements • 90MHz Pentium processor • 16MB of RAM for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me and 24MB for Windows NT or later. • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 or later • 28,800 bps or faster modem, ISDN, or LAN connection. • 4 MB of free hard disk space (an additional 10 MB is needed during installation only to accommodate the initial setup files). • Sound card with microphone and speakers (required for audio support).
To launch NetMeeting, use start menu’s run command line and type “conf”. • Or just find the shortcut icon and click it.
- Calling from ViewStation - • Using remote control, enter the IP address or choose from address book. • Press “Call/Hang Up” button on remote control.
- Receiving call (NetMeeting) - • If you receive call from others, this window will pop up. • If you want to videoconference, click “Respond”.
Press - Calling from NetMeeting - • Enter the destination IP address.
Press - Calling from GNOMEMeeting - • Enter the destination IP address.
