  1. The Difference Between Weight Loss And Fat Loss

  2. All of us have fitness goals to achieve but at some point we find ourselves struggling to lose the stubborn fat. To get a trimmed look it is fat that we need to get rid of. Before you begin your journey to a fit body you need to understand the difference between weight loss and fat loss. • When we speak about weight loss then we are talking about an overall reduction in the body weight this includes muscle, fat and water loss. But when we speak of fat loss then we are referring to the reduction of fat stored in your body. • Weight Loss Vs. Fat Loss • Bodyweight is mainly the water weight that you have and when we diet it is this water weight that we lose. The carbohydrates present in our body amalgamate with water and increases body weight too. Weight loss will lead to both muscle and water loss. Losing body muscle slows down the metabolism of our body. Ultimately this will bring back the weight that you lose. There is a specific way of training and exercise regime that you need to follow that will allow your body to lose fat but gain on muscle. • Most of us may not be able to spare enough time for rigorous training and exercises yet we do crave to get into shape. There are many different ways of losing fast surgically but those who don’t wish to undergo the blade can opt for cryolipolysis fat freezing treatments and coolsculpting for fat removal.

  3. What is Cryolipolysis Weight Loss? • Cryolipolysis is a procedure that involves breaking down the fat cells in patients using cold temperature. Fat cells are vulnerable to cold however, the other cells present in the body including the skin is safe. It is a non-surgical way to lose fat and is FDA approved too. • What happens in Cryolipolysis? • In this fat freezing procedure, the surgeon first assesses the shape of the bulge that needs to be treated and accordingly a curvature and applicator are selected. The area is then marked for the placement of the applicator. The cryo-freeze weight loss procedure is performed without anesthesia. Before placing the applicator a gel padding is placed to safeguard the skin. The bulge is vacuumed to the hollow of the applicator and soon the temperature within the applicator drops making the area senseless. When the bulge is pulled in the applicator the patients usually feel some discomfort but soon when the area gets numb the uneasiness vanishes. The process usually takes about one hour and after the applicator is removed the area is massaged. The fat cells that have been treated to cold will usually take between 4 and 6 months to be removed from the body. Soon the bulge that was treated will decrease in size.

  4. What is Coolsculpting? • This is also a non-invasive procedure that rids your body of fat cells. The fat cells are frozen; these crystalized cells once killed are eliminated from your body naturally. The process doesn’t require you to take any anesthesia and is completely safe. • How long does Coolsculpting take for results? • You will start noticing changes in your body from 3 weeks. Most of the patients see dramatic changes after 2 months and it will be continued until 4-6 months as this fat freezing procedure keeps eliminating fat cells up to 4-6 months after the treatment is performed.
