  3. Example • This is an isthmus. An isthmus is defined as a narrow stretch of land that connects two parts of land and has water on each side. It relates to Central America because the region of Central America is an isthmus. It’s important because it connects North and South America and is home to some of the richest farmland in the world.

This is what you need • 6 aspects of Central America (Up to ten for extra credit) • Use your notes, book, or the internet • Tell what it is, how it relates to Central America, why it’s important • Must be from different areas of Central America • Ex: Don’t do 4 natural disasters • Title/Cover page • Name on front • Attach rubric
