TRENDS IN CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATIONS • Incidence of serious violations remains low • Number of students involved in serious violations remains low • Drug and alcohol infractions increased slightly • Incidence of fighting increased • Weapons violations remain very low • Insubordination decreased • Disruptive behavior decreased • Harassment/bullying remained the same, increasing at the HS and decreasing at the MS • Bus misconduct increased
TRENDS IN USE OF PENALTIES • HS suspensions remained low for a third year • # of HS students suspended remained the same • Superintendent’s hearings remained the same for our buildings • MS suspensions increased but remained low • Elementary suspensions very low

Continued direct instruction in multiple venues including instruction related to Dignity for All Students Act Continued focus on character education/relationship building Review and revision of handbooks Professional development Continued counseling with individual students and families Review and revision of procedures as they relate to Dignity for All Students Act and cyberbullying FUTURE PLANS
