What are possessive adjectives??Quick Review… • A pronoun that is used as an adjective to indicate who owns the noun that follows it. • It replaces the article in front of the noun, then takes on the same endings as those of the indefinite article (-ein words) • You already know some: mein, dein, and sein.

  3. Nominative masculine / neuter feminine/ plural mein (my) meine dein (your) deine sein (his) seine ihr (her) ihre sein (its) seine unser (our) uns(e)re euer (your) eu(e)re ihr (their) ihre Ihr (your, formal) Ihre • The ,,e’’ in front of the “r” in unsere and euere is often omitted if the endings begin with a vowel. • Remember, possessives can take endings depending on case: • IchsehedeinenVater. • Ichkaufemeiner Mutter einGeschenk. accusative dative
