Values • How will you treat your employees and customers? • Should reflect your own personal values and morals. • “Doing business ethically and being honest.” • “Treating all people with dignity.” • Write down your values.
Vision • Where do you see your business in 3 to 5 years? • This will define and shape your future. • Write down your vision.
Purpose • Purpose is broken into two sections; what your business does for you and for your customers. • Internal • What will this business do for you? • External • What will it do for the customer? • What needs will you fill for your customers?
Purpose • Example: • I love pizza! The internal purpose of my business is that it will give me a chance to make pizzas. The external purpose of my business will be to provide the best pizza to satisfy the hunger of my customers. • Write down your internal and external purpose.
