Academic Accomplishments 34 on the ACT Maintained a rigorous schedule, taking seven AP classes throughout high school Obtained passing scores on 3 AP tests so far Ranked 3rd with a 3.97 GPA Awarded Michigan Scholar Award from the University of Michigan – Flint
Academic Accomplishments, cont. Awarded presidential scholarship from Kettering University Science Olympiad Rotary Club Student of the Month – May 2011 Dual enrolled during Fall and Winter semesters of 2010-2011, receiving 4.0 in both classes. Accepted into UM-Flint’s Honors Program
Athletic Accomplishments Played on JV Golf team one year, varsity for three years Freshman Year: Most Improved Player Sophomore Year: Coach’s Award Junior Year: FML Honorable Mention, Scholar Athlete Senior Year: Most Improved Player, FML Honorable Mention, Scholar Athlete, Academic All-State
Volunteer and Work Experience Individual tutor at Carter Middle School Tutor at Clio High School since October 2011 Member of the church band, playing every Sunday Volunteer through church Project Green
Where Am I Going? • Short Term Goals: • Maintain spot in top ten • Pass all of my AP classes with A’s • Receive 3’s or higher on the AP Chemistry and AP Statistics tests • Long Term Goals: • Maintain a high GPA in college • By 2016, graduate with honors from University of Michigan – Flint with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
