The port is connected with state railway and highway network. Location: 400 44’ 44” N, 290 50’ 00” E Port serves for general cargo as well as dry bulk and Ro-Ro. The port has also a container berth equipment capacity of 30,000 TEU/year. The Port gives an opportunity for rail and sea combined transport with regular train ferry services between Derince Port and Costanza Port of Romania. As of May 2012, total number of workers are 476. (White Collar: 136, Blue Collar: 340)

  3. Port of Derince:Technical Information Pilotage is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the port and provided by the Port Authority. Towage is not necessary up to 500 GRT and provided by Port Administration.
