  10. Joining Clauses • Use a subordinating conjunction. • Use a coordinating conjunction. Examples Wrong: I got home, mom yelled at me. Right: When I got home, mom yelled at me. Wrong: Pizza tastes good cookies taste better. Right: Pizza tastes good but cookies taste better.
