Your Academic Advisor is a VIP • Your advisor is an expert in your field and can connect you with important learning experiences. • Your advisor helps you plan your coursework and helps you stick to your plan. • Your advisor is your connection point to campus resources.
Connecting with your advisor: • Look for an e-mail invitation, make an appointment. • Think about what questions you might want to ask. • Come ready to talk a little bit about why you chose your CJ major and what you might want to do with it. • Put your fall classes in “My Planner” (watch the video link your advisor will include in the invitation)
