  2. Dolny Śląsk • Lower Silesia - Polish unit of administrative division, one of the 16 provinces. Was established in 1999 with the previous land provinces Wroclaw, Legnica, Jelenia Gora, Walbrzych and parts of Leszno and Kalisz. Province is located southwest of the country, covering a large part of historical Silesia (Lower Silesia) and the eastern Lusatia. • Lower Silesia is one of the most economically developed regions of the country, in terms of their gross domestic product takes 2nd place in Poland.
