  2. Life Cycle. At the beginning of the life cycle comes the egg . The egg protects the larva before it hatches out of the egg. The next stage is the larva stage. The larva is the mealworm stage . Next comes the pupa stage. The pupa is kind of like a cocoon but for a Darkling beetle. Next is the adult. The adult is the Darkling beetle! horray!

  3. Characteristics Darkling beetles look like dark black or light brown bugs. They have six legs & two antennae’s on their head.

  4. Simple & complete metamorphosis . Complete metamorphosis has four stages in the life cycle . The stages are the egg stage next is the larva stage then the pupa stage .Then the adult. Simple metamorphosis has 3stages Egg , molting stage , nymth. and adult
