  1. Websites Development, Cloud coordination • Websites design, development, hosting and cloud coordination is ongoing activity • Coordination with web information managers or websites users for website publishing, web server, VPN for about 80 static and dynamic websites • Websites contents updating for some of the websites through VPN remote publishing and through CMS • Free text search with in .PDF files implemented for CMS based websites

Cyber Security Audit • Cyber security audit for all websites and software applications coordinated with development team and cyber security division (CSD) • Website security audit for all static websites is done locally at NIC-HP and put up to CSD for final audit clearance • For dynamic websites/ application software, it is coordinated for in-house and third party audited websites for all stakeholders and involves getting of staging servers, production servers and VPN accounts

  3. Integrated Online Hotels Reservation System • Next Generation Online Hotels Reservation System software developed using .NET and MS SQL Server on windows platform and hosted on cloud data centre at Shastri Park • Software has been upgraded and additional features like integration with Mobile App and with all popular online travel portals like Yatra, Via, TravelGuru, Goibibo, ClearTrip etc. thru AxisRooms channel manager • The software has latest industry standard public interface for easy online access

  4. eGazette – Online Official Gazette Gazette is published only Online from 1st August, 2007 onwards • Software system publishes the official Gazette (Rajpatra) of Himachal Pradesh online • Gazette is digitally signed and PDF/A compliant • Departmental users upload Notifications online and Printing & Stationery department publishes these in the Gazette • Corrigendum module, previous Gazette & Public interface of the searching Gazettes are proposed to be developed

  5. Online Examination Processing System • Online work flow based software under development for Board of Departmental Examinations, HIPA • All activities of the work flow based system to be online for all stakeholders of the system viz. Examinees as Government employees, Departmental Heads and BODE • Admit cards for examination and results shall be available online through the system to employees and departments

  6. Himachal Pradesh Forms Portal • Centralized repository of HP Government Forms • Most of the Forms are in Fill-able PDF format and also linked to online services where available. • Free text search on contents of Forms integrated

  7. Mobile Apps on Android and Windows • Mobile Apps on Android and Windows platforms are developed and these are hosted on respective app stores and linked from HP Government website and NIC app store • These are available for download at respective Play stores along with all other Apps developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh

  8. NICSI Projects • NICSI projects of website development and security audit are coordinated among NICSI, empanelled agencies and departments • Communication among all stakeholders is done for completing the projects • Getting platform for staging servers and production servers for carrying out the security audit and resolving the issues of accessing and hosting of the websites

  9. Other Activities • Registration and renewal of NIC.IN and Gov.IN domains • Sparrow implementation for APARs of IAS officers • eOffice coordination for more HP Government departments on board • RTI proactive disclosures publishing for departments • Tenders publishing & creation of users at tenders.gov.in
