  5. CFA Vancouver’s Mission The Mission of CFA Vancouver is to enhance the investment profession by promoting high ethical behavior, professional excellence and fellowship.

CFA Vancouver’s Vision* *As drafted, 25 July 2007 & revised, 07 December 2007 We envision a CFA Vancouver that, in 2012, is: •The“go-to” organization in British Columbia for high quality and innovative professional development opportunities for finance professionals; •A dynamic organization of 1500 members, a high percentage of whom are actively engaged in enhancing the value of the society by willingly giving of their time as volunteers and openly sharing their knowledge and expertise with one another; •Widely recognized, well respected and highly valued by investors, academia and the business community in the Vancouver area because of the membership’s unerring commitment to ethics and professional excellence
