National Statistical Reality • 58.3% of African-American high school graduates were enrolled in college in 2003 • While African-Americans represent more than 11 out of every 100 students, only 9 out of 100 Bachelor Degrees go to African-Americans • College completion rates for African Americans between the ages of 25-29 stood at only 16% • Caucasian students hold a 28.4% completion rate Source: United States Student Association Foundation, 2006
