Purpose: Assisting ACO • When: Every Tuesday and Wednesday Store Tuesday (3:00-5:00PM) 6 people Closet Wednesday (4:00PM-5:00PM) 3 people • Where: 801 East Main St. • (You must check in at the volunteer office on the side of the building) • Benefits: Help families rebuild in our community ** No forms needed. Allen community outreach

  9. Money due Oct.31. Print your name on box /bag with total $$$ $10 collected = 1 hour (Max of 3 hours) The Eliminate Project (Trick or treat)

Business Meetings – sign in, please no initials Service Meetings – sign out when service completed If your name on the list is Red = Still need to do online form – see website Green = Still need to pay dues and turn in forms *October 31st is the last day for Early Bird dues and get a free tshirt. After Oct 31, tshirts will cost $10. * No new members will be accepted after November 21. Meeting sign-in sheets

  12. What is it: A Holiday store for the children to purchase items for their family members with the behavior points they have earned during the year. What we need: Simple items (dollars store) – unused or gently used. Ex. Jewelry, candles, cups, sample cosmetics. $5 worth of items =1 hour Bring in old your old plain t-shirts! We will be making scarves with them. **Will start collecting in November Boyd Christmas store

  13. 80 boxes total, REQUIRED Every box = 5 hours Do it by yourself (5 hours) or with a partner (2.5 hours each) Count the number of items Put your name and number inside the box MUST ASK FOR TEACHER’S permission to sell in class!! Fundraiser: candy boxes are in!

  15. In honor of Veteran’s Day we want to show our appreciation by writing letters to soldiers and hopefully put a smile on their faceswith some news from home. 2 full page (front) = 1 hour This week: Soldier letters

Start with a salutation, such as “Dear Service Member” or “Dear Hero” • You can write to a Deployed Troop, a Veteran and/or a Wounded Warrior • Express your thanks for their selfless service • Avoid politics completely and religion in excess; however, saying you pray for them is wonderful • Share a little about yourself: Family, Hobbies, Work, Pets • Talk about life back home: Sports, Weather, Music, and Movies After you’re done, take your letters and go to the mid passageway on upper F Hall! Who: 3-4 Key Club members When: Thursday at 12:00(noon) Where: Hilton Garden Hotel(705 Central Expy S, Allen, TX 75013) Benefits: New knowledge, free, delicious lunch, excused from class ** May only attend 1 per semester. Must find your own ride. Have to come back to school, you’re only excused for 3rd/6th period!! Kiwanis luncheon
