This information is often contained on the medication mixing instructions. Eg. Benzylpenicillin For a solution of 150mg/mL add 3.6mL For a solution of 200mg/mL add 2.6mL

How much solution should be drawn up for injection if the concentration, after dilution with after for injection is a 150mg/mL? Volume = strength required x volume of stock stock 270 x 1mL 9 150 = 5 = 1.8mL
